What does NUORI mean?

NUORI is a Finnish word that means ‘young and fresh’. Although NUORI is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, our founder and CEO, Jasmi Bonnén, is originally from Finland.
Why fresh?

Freshness defines our reason for being and sets the bar for all aspects of the NUORI concept. From formulas and production, to packaging and distribution, everything has been reimagined to optimize freshness of our products. At NUORI, we produce fresh batches often so our products reach customers quickly after formulation, ensuring the potency and purity of the product.

The NUORI packaging can easily remind you of the two main reasons we create fresh skincare: The yellow symbolizes the efficacy and the white signifies the purity of our 100% natural formulas.

Why Natural?

The reason we are so committed to only using natural ingredients is three-fold:Firstly, compounds that are organically found in nature (opposed to man-made compounds), tend to have a much greater affinity to our skin. This means that the skin cells more readily receive and utilize these compounds.Secondly, natural ingredients are bio-degradable, which means that they do not pollute our planet.Thirdly, natural ingredients are a much cleaner, naturally renewable alternative to petrochemical-derived ingredients. Many consumers aren’t even aware of the fact that commonly used skincare ingredients such as mineral oil, petrolatum, paraffin wax, PEGs, MEAs, DEAs and TEAs are all derived from petroleum, which is an unrenewable resource with high toxicity concerns.
How long do NUORI products last?

The date stamped on the bottom of your product is the expiration date; however, we encourage you to start using the product right away to take advantage of the fresh and potent ingredients.
Are your products organic?

We do select organic ingredients for our products; however, we made a conscious decision to omit focus instead on the most important aspect of NUORI: freshness. This means that we create 100% natural products at peak efficacy. We are also strong believers in transparency, which is why we make the clear choice to omit certificates on our products, many of which are tied to political or marketing initiatives.
Does NUORI test on animals?

We meticulously test all of NUORI products and ingredients, but never on animals. We never have, we never will.
